What is the 1-Hour Guarantee?

During this year's Black Friday Event in stores, we are offering the 1-Hour Guarantee on select items. This program guarantees that you can purchase these items at the guaranteed price for one hour after the event start time. If, during this time, we run out of the physical merchandise, you will have the option to pay for the item(s) and we will get the item to your store on or before December, 24, 2014, provided you register your receipt at our web site.

How long do I have to register?

You have until 11:59 p.m. Central Time on Monday, December 1 to register 1-Hour Guarantee purchases.

What if I registered but lost my receipt?

No problem! If you have a smartphone, a digital copy is available in the Walmart App. Just log in using the same account you registered with. You can also use this email and a government-issued photo ID matching the name above in place of your receipt.

How do I create a digital copy of my 1-Hour Guarantee receipt (i.e., an eReceipt)?

There are two ways. First, from a smartphone or tablet, access the Walmart App and click "Savings Catcher" and then "Scan a Receipt." At that point you can scan the QR code located at the bottom of your receipt. The second way is by registering your receipt on walmart.com/1hourguarantee. By doing this, an eReceipt will automatically be created and associated with your Walmart.com account.
* Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee items are not eligible for Savings Catcher.

How do I retrieve a digital copy of my 1-Hour Guarantee receipt (i.e., an eReceipt)?

To retrieve an eReceipt you must have already scanned your physical receipt or registered your receipt on walmart.com/1hourguarantee. Then, from a smartphone or tablet, access the Walmart App and log in to your account. Click on "Savings Catcher" and then "Your eReceipts."

Can I have more than one 1-Hour Guarantee item on one receipt?

Yes. A single receipt can contain multiple 1HG items, but can only contain one unit of each item.

Will I be able to purchase a product care plan at the register if I purchase a 1-Hour Guarantee item to be delivered by Christmas?

No, you will not be able to add a product care plan at the register if you are not receiving the physical item. You will be able to purchase a product care plan on the website during the registration process. You may also choose to purchase a product care plan when picking up your item.

If I have chosen to purchase a product care plan for my item when registering, how will I be charged?

Upon check out on Walmart.com, you will be prompted to input your payment information.  Your product care plan will appear as a separate order in "My Account" on Walmart.com.

When will I be billed and receive my Care Plan?

Care Plan billing and coverage start immediately. Special Care Plans have been created for 1-Hour Guarantee items that have extended coverage to ensure your purchase is protected for the full advertised length of the Care Plan.

If I return a 1-Hour Guarantee item, how do I get a refund for a Care Plan that I purchased during the online registration?

If you bought your Care Plan from the confirmation page after registering your 1-Hour Guarantee online and return your item within the standard return window, we will automatically refund your Care Plan purchase.

How do I cancel my 1-Hour Guarantee?

If you change your mind, you should continue to pick up the item in the store and then you can immediately return it for a refund.

When will my items arrive in the store?

Your items will be available for in-store pickup on or before December 24, 2014.

When should I be able to pick up my 1-Hour Guarantee items?

Customers will receive a "ready for pick up" email in mid-December when items are ready to pick up.

What do I need to pick up my items?

Be sure to bring the original receipt received in store when the 1-Hour Guarantee was purchased.

How long do I have to pick up once I am notified my item is ready? 

 You have until January 8, 2015 to pick up your 1-Hour Guarantee purchase.

What if I do not pick up my 1 Hour Guarantee purchase by January 8, 2015?

You will receive an email that it has expired.  At that point, you can use your original receipt as a Gift Card or have your funds transferred to a physical Gift Card.

I bought an item that included a Gift Card. When will I receive the Gift Card?

Promotion gift cards will be given by the store at the time of pickup of the physical item.

What are the terms and conditions for this program?

1-Hour Guarantee Terms
If the item is out of stock the night of the event, the value of the item(s) plus sales tax and fees (1-Hour Guarantee Funds ("1HGF")) will be loaded into a gift card account ("GCA") indicated on the 1-Hour Guarantee Receipt ("1HGR"). If you do not register your 1HGR, you may use the 1HGF to purchase merchandise at any retail format of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. Purchases on Walmart.com using 1HGF require visiting a store to obtain a Walmart gift card. All standard Walmart gift card terms & conditions will apply. If Walmart is unable to fulfill your order, a full refund will be provided upon request. A comparable substitution may be available. Your receipt must be produced to receive a refund. Contact a customer service associate at your local store or call 1-877-745-0190 for additional assistance.

Use of this 1HGR constitutes acceptance of the following terms: the balance in the GCA is solely a liability of Wal-Mart Stores Arkansas, LLC. If applicable, Promo Gift Cards will be given to the customer when they receive the merchandise. To make a purchase at Sam's Club or SamsClub.com, the holder must be a Sam's Club Member or a 10% service fee will apply except where not applicable. 1HGF may be applied toward annual membership fee.

1-Hour Guarantee tear pad distribution will begin at the applicable Black Friday event start time and end 1 hour after the event start time. Limit 1 of each Guarantee Item per person, per transaction. Offer only applies to eligible items on program. Payment must be made upon checkout for the 1-Hour Guarantee item(s). Deadline for payment may vary based upon local store hours; see local store for details. Not valid in Alaska, Hawaii, & Puerto Rico. Merchandise will be delivered to the store of your choice specified during registration. Delivery not available in Alaska, Hawaii, & Puerto Rico. Valid email address is required. 1HGR must be registered at walmart.com/1hourguarantee by 11:59 p.m. CST, Monday, December 1, 2014. Customers will receive notice via email when the item is available for pickup at the store specified during registration. Additional taxes & fees may apply during item pick up for (1) orders shipped to a store other than the one where the GCA was initiated or (2) post-event tax rate changes. Based on ship-to location, taxes and fees will be recalculated. You may have to pay additional taxes and fees or you may have a credit balance remaining in your GCA. Be sure to keep your 1HGR and check your balance at store level. Any additional funds left in your GCA after pick-up can be loaded to a Walmart gift card. Terms & conditions subject to change without notice.  

Depositing funds into a GCA, use of a 1HGR, or registration of a 1HGR constitutes acceptance of the following Arbitration provision.  Please read the following carefully-it may significantly affect your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court.

All claims arising out of or relating to the 1-Hour Guarantee shall be determined by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, on a confidential basis in accordance with the rules of the selected administrator by an impartial third-party arbitrator, excluding any rules or procedures governing or permitting class actions. Any arbitration shall be conducted in the city where the 1HRGF were loaded into a GCA, or a location mutually agreed upon by the parties. The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve all disputes arising out of or relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability or formation of this agreement, including, but not limited to any claim that all or any part of this agreement is void or voidable.  The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding on the parties and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. The interpretation and enforcement of this agreement shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

IF YOU WISH TO BEGIN AN ARBITRATION AGAINST US BUT CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY THE ORGANIZATION'S OR ARBITRATOR'S COSTS, WE WILL PAY THOSE COSTS IF YOU ASK US IN WRITING. ANY REQUEST LIKE THIS SHOULD BE SENT TO: WALMART ARBITRATION, 702 S.W. 8TH ST., BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS 72716 (M.S. #0185). IF YOU LOSE THE ARBITRATION, THE ARBITRATOR WILL DECIDE WHETHER YOU MUST REIMBURSE US FOR MONEY WE ADVANCED FOR YOU FOR THE ARBITRATION. IF YOU WIN THE ARBITRATION, WE WILL NOT ASK FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF MONEY WE ADVANCED.  THE PARTIES UNDERSTAND THAT, ABSENT THIS MANDATORY PROVISION, THEY WOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A JURY TRIAL.  THEY FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT, IN SOME INSTANCES, THE COSTS OF ARBITRATION COULD EXCEED THE COSTS OF LITIGATION AND THE RIGHT TO DISCOVERY MAY BE MORE LIMITED IN ARBITRATION THAN IN COURT.

The parties further agree that any arbitration shall be conducted in their individual capacities only and not as a class action or other representative action, and the parties expressly waive their right to file a class action or seek relief on a class basis.  

You have the right to opt-out and not be bound by the arbitration and class action waiver provisions by sending written notice of your decision to opt-out to: Walmart Arbitration, 702 S.W. 8th St., Bentonville, Arkansas 72716 (M.S. #0185). The notice must be sent within fifteen (15) days of registering the 1HGR, otherwise you shall be bound to arbitrate disputes in accordance with this agreement.
